The Platner Side Chair was designed by Warren Platner for Knoll in 1966. The chair is made of welded steel rods, which generate a moiré effect, unique to the Platner Side Chair. All metal components have been surface-treated in bright nickel or a matte, metallic bronze color and are covered with a transparent protective lacquer coating. The upholstery is available in several colors.
The chair can be used both as a dining chair or at the desk and has a comfortable upholstered seat with velvet upholstery, alternatively circa. The collection also includes a side chair, stool, and dining and coffee tables. Platner Side Chair is an incredibly comfortable chair with a soft impression. Furnished advantageously with several similar chairs around the Platner Dining Table. The chair is a favorite with us at Nordiska Galleriet and we are happy to furnish our exhibition with it.
