From the Platner collection comes a footstool, intended to complement the Platner Easy Chair. Designed by Warren Platner for Knoll in 1962, the collection is a collection of elegant furniture made from welded together pieces that generate a unique marble effect. The gold-plated version of the series was introduced in 2015 to celebrate Platner's 50th anniversary. The footstool is made of welded steel bars, plated in 18-carat gold, and covered with a transparent protective lacquer coating. The cushion is made of molded fiberglass and soft foam; the cushion is available in several colors. Together with the Platner Easy Chair, an elegant seating group is formed.
