The Barcelona Chair by Knoll was designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1929 - 31 and is one of the most iconic pieces of furniture in modern design. Created through exceptional craftsmanship, the Barcelona Chair exudes elegance. The chair is upholstered with 40 individual panels, cut out and treated by hand from one piece of leather. The seat is upholstered in foam and sits on a neat, slightly curved steel frame with an x-shaped base. The steel is chrome-plated and hand-polished to a mirror finish.
