The distinctive and blunt tip makes the Nakiri extra safe to use. The slightly curved edge makes the food release faster from the blade and makes chopping, slicing and cutting easier. The knife has a core of VG-MAX steel and 32 layers of Damascus steel, which gives the fine pattern on the blade. The handle is made of laminated Pakka wood.
