Leimu Copper is designed by Magnus Pettersen for the brand Iittala. The design language is inspired by modern architecture and the interaction between concrete and glass. Pettersen created Leimu with a harmonious balance of warm and cold elements. The lamp, designed to resemble a blazing flame, combines strength and sensitivity. Its elegant form consists of a thin mouth-blown glass dome and a robust concrete base, developed in collaboration with experts at the Iittala glassworks. Each Leimu lamp is handmade with a soft surface. It spreads a soft, pleasant light that gives warmth to every room. The copper color contributes to a golden glow. This modern classic has received the prestigious iF Design Award.
