Shimmer Round Table is a glass table designed by Patricia Uriquiola for the Italian brand Glas Italia. The table is available in five different sizes and is made of laminated glass with a rainbow iridescent and frosted finish. The color of the table varies depending on how the light hits the table and where the viewer is in the room. The table top rests on three legs and is made of transparent or acid-etched glass and is also available as a side table and console table. The base of the table can be mounted by the legs and the top is joined with metal plates that are covered by a decorative circular plate in the table top.
It is important to note that the manufacturing process of the tables generates a unique finish for each table, which means that variations in color and texture between the tables are a large part of the character of each table.
