Parquet Tetragon Rug is a rug designed by the Swedish design duo Front for Gan Rugs. The duo have combined traditional patterns and geometries from flooring and rugs with innovative shapes and color palettes to create a collection of kilim rugs with a modern three-dimensional feel. Tetragon, along with Rhomb and Hexagon in the Parquet series, are made up of geometric figures with four to eight sides, and their irregular shapes break with the traditional rectangular carpet. These handwoven wool rugs are reversible and their design and colors create the illusion of increased space in the room, while challenging the conventional with their modern expressions. The Tetragon rug stands out with its colorful mix of greys, blues, yellows, pinks and dark greens, creating a balanced and eye-catching aesthetic.
