The After Party Pink Rug by cc-tapis is a luxurious wool and silk rug with an expressive multicolored pattern, designed by Garth Roberts. The rug is handmade in Nepal and comes in a size of 230 x 300 cm. The inspiration comes from the feeling of celebration where After Party a dramatic base color characterized by a splash of confetti shapes. The carpet features subtle and abstract graphics where the apparent randomness of the design has been translated by Tibetan artisans with over 152,000 individual knots per square meter.
Originally from Canada, Garth Roberts blends the irony of European design with the straightforward progress of North American culture in his work. After Party won the prestigious German Design Award 2018 in the Home Accessories Textiles category.
