PostKrisi Chandelier is a ceiling chandelier with three, five, seven or ten lamps handcrafted by Catellani Smith, created by Enzo Catellani in 2004. Each lamp is a composition of two hemispheres with a slit that allows the light to create an elegant shadow play against the walls and ceiling of the room. The PostKrisi Chandelier is made of fiberglass and hangs at different heights, depending on the number of lamps, the size of the sphere and the ceiling mount varies.
PostKrisi is a collection of lamps that opens a new chapter in Catellani's production. For the first time he introduced color to his collection, hand-painted with pure primary colors they give another side to the lamps. The shape that has always been an important element of Catellani's design, capturing the light and creating shadows, is here enhanced with shades made of fiberglass with raw, fringed edges, giving further life to the play of shadows that transform into drawings of light. The collection also includes floor, ceiling, and table lamps.
