Malagola is a ceiling lamp from Catellani Smith. Malagola is part of the Luci d'Oro collection created by Enzo Catellani with inspiration from the warmth and colors of the sun and fire. The lamp is shaped like an open seed where the lightbulb is hidden inside the lamp so as not to interfere with its graceful lines. The shade is made of aluminum covered inside and out with leaf-thin leaves of gold, silver, or copper and comes in two sizes. The hanging device is black, and the height is adjustable to suit the surface chosen. Malagola is suitable for hanging over dining room tables and can be hung in groups over a larger area. The lamp is exclusively handmade in Italy, in the Bergamo area on the banks of the river Serio.
