Ribbon High Stool is a bar stool created by one of Japan's most prominent designers, Nendo, for Italian Cappellini in 2007. Two years later, Ribbon won the prestigious If Design Award for its exceptional design, in which the thin bands of cut-out metal form an incredibly special character, which is backed by a stable construction and a power of innovation that is striking.

The Ribbon High stool is made entirely of laser-cut, thin metal, finished in matte powder-coating. It is available in five different colors. The ribbon structure also includes a gray ribbon that becomes a footrest, a discreet detail that also becomes functional. To avoid damaging the floor, it is also available with transparent plastic floor protection. Ribbon Low Stool is also available as a stool in the same style, Ribbon Low Stool.
