The Original 1227 Brass Desk Lamp from Anglepoise is designed by George Carwardine and is part of the Original 1227 Brass collection which was launched in 2014. The Original 1227 Brass desk lamp is a later interpretation of the classic Original 1227 desk lamp which has been in production since 1935. The lamp has a flexible arm and shield in aluminium, textile-covered twisted cable and base in cast iron coated with steel. Original 1227 Brass desk lamp comes in three colors and all have brass details. The desk lamp is flexible and functional and fits well in, for example, the study. Note that the weight of the light source is important to achieve the correct balance in the lamp.
The Original 1227 Brass collection also includes a pendant ceiling lamp in two sizes as well as two variations of wall lamps.
