Det franske brand Petite Friture blev grundlagt i 2009 af Amélie du Passage. Petite Fritures æstetiske vision er tydelig. Kernen i brandet ligger i den passion, som Amélie du Passage har for design og skønhed i bred forstand. Sammen med internationale designere stræber Petite Friture efter at udvikle spændende produkter. Fælles for disse designere er, at de deler den samme vision og høje standard som Petite Friture og dermed inkarnerer virksomhedens værdier.
Gennem sin unikke og distinkte stil har Petite Friture etableret sig på markedet for moderne og samtidsindretning. Petite Friture tilbyder personlige produkter, der blander alt fra humor og elegance til minimalisme og leg.
Fransk design med internationalt præg
Petite Friture samarbejder med mange internationale designere som Shelley Steer (Australien), Hanna Emelie Ernstring (Tyskland/USA) og Federico Floriani (Italien). Fra Skandinavien kan nævnes nordmanden Andreas Engesvik og det alsidige svenske arkitektkontor Claesson Koivisto Rune. Selvfølgelig har det franske brand Petite Friture også samarbejdet med mange indenlandske designere, ikke mindst de internationalt anerkendte designere India Mahdavi og Constance Guisset.
Constance Guisset er kvinden bag Petite Fritures måske mest kendte produkt, Vertigo. Vertigo er en prisvindende loftlampe designet i 2010. Lampens unikke, lette design har fascineret mennesker over hele verden. Takket være dens tynde struktur i glasfiber og velourbånd i polyuretan synes lampen at svæve i luften som en hat, der flyver med vinden. Den lave vægt medfører, at Vertigo langsomt drejer som en mobil og skaber skyggeformationer på væggene.
