Ardea is an armchair by Italian manufacturer Zanotta, designed in 1944 as a tribute to the renowned architect and designer Carlo Mollino. The armchair stands on a decorative base in black painted wood. The shell is made of a steel inner frame and elastic straps with polyurethane foam and polyester fiber padding. The upholstery is available in a choice of fabrics and is removable. The armchair has a sculptural design with soft, rounded shapes and a high back rest. Ardea offers a high level of comfort and is suitable as a restful seat in living rooms, lobbies or libraries. Combine it with a side table by Zanotta.
