Vostra is a textbook example of old-fashioned quality and good design, designed by the Walter Knoll design team in 1947. The chair is sleek and elegant, with thin steel legs and a sturdy seat cushion and back rest, upholstered in cold-cure foam and covered in fabric. The frame is made of beech and several fabrics are available to choose from.Vostra lounge chair has clean lines, and several can be used together. In the 1950s, Vostra helped Walter Knoll achieve international status in the post-war era, when a new, modern way of life was sought. Today, the lounge chair is just as popular for its modernity and simple elegance. Vostra is also available as a side table.
