Plywood Group LCW is a chair designed by the design duo Charles & Ray Eames for the Swiss brand Vitra. LCW is an abbreviation for Lounge Chair Wood and is one of the elegant chairs in the Plywood Group series. LCW is a comfortable and neat chair that fits in most homes and interiors. The chair's seat is available in several different designs. Lounge Chair Wood has a sister in the same series called Lounge Chair Metal which looks similar but stands on metal legs. Charles & Ray Eames spent several years experimenting to be able to create the perfect seating comfort on a plywood chair and in 1945/46 the result was The Plywood Group.
