Eye Clock has the shape of an eye, hence the name. The watch is made of brass and walnut and has a high quality quartz movement with a black dial. The clock belongs to the Nelson Wall Clocks series designed by George Nelson for Vitra between 1948 and 1960. The goal of the series was to introduce modern design into American homes. All watches are clearly inspired by the growing economic prosperity and strong faith in the future that permeated the United States during the fifties. The product includes a 1.5 volt battery.
