The elegant Press Medium Vase is designed by the British designer Tom Dixon for his own brand. The vase is made of thick, industrially pressed glass that obtained its unique shape by heating the glass mass to 1200 degrees and then pressing it in an iron mold. Press Medium Vase has been designed to capture and refract the light in a unique way, something the thick glass contributes to. The vase is part of the Press series from Tom Dixon which, in addition to the Press Medium Vase, also contains candle holders and bowls in different sizes and shapes. Common to the series is the thick, transparent glass that makes these objects as decorative as they are functional.
