Sjöstrand Coffee Concept’s story began in winter 2011 with an espresso machine as a Christmas gift. The luxury of being able to make a perfect espresso at the touch of a button was mixed with the thought of how much unnecessary garbage was caused by aluminum coffee capsules.

Sjöstrand Coffee Concept realized that there must be a way to create a greener concept—something that motivated them to change the coffee industry by creating a brand that focuses on the environment and great taste. From this, the Sjöstrand Coffee Concept was born, an environmentally friendly coffee product that you can find in kitchens and coffee shops around the world.

Swedish design combined with sustainability

Sjöstrand Coffee Concept has taken the concept of coffee from a big environmental villain to a harmonious combination of Swedish design and sustainability. The machines are made of stainless steel for a long service life, and the coffee is 100% organic, climate positive and Fair Trade, packed in compostable fiber capsules. They also compensate through Vi-Skogen, an organization that prevents poverty in vulnerable countries and plants trees. The concept of Sjöstrand Coffee Concept has been built by a family driven by a passion for sustainability, design, and, of course, really good coffee. The brand aims to inspire a greener lifestyle through simple but groundbreaking innovations.
