This modern interpretation of the classic blue pattern features selected details carefully hand-painted to emphasize the vibrant blue effect. The pattern was designed by Karen Kjældgård-Larsen in 2000 and marked a new era for Royal Copenhagen. The series combines historical authenticity with contemporary creativity and consists of eight different patterns. A unique number on the back of each plate indicates which pattern the specific piece has.
