The Lupin Lounge Chair is a comfortable chair with a high level of craftsmanship, designed by Atelier D.Q. for Japanese Ritzwell. It is perhaps the most Japanese-looking piece by Ritzwell, reminiscent of Japanese architecture, especially the use of the thick leather that gives it its character. The boxy shape invites relaxation and comfort, while high quality materials in the form of solid walnut or oak, thick vegetable tanned leather and textiles form a whole that evokes the Zen tradition.

Atelier D.Q. refers to a quote from Alvar Alto that reads: ”The furniture, the fabrics, the color schemes and the structures can be earnestly and happily made so that they produce no contrast to the tragedy and comedy of human life”. With this philosophy in mind, the Lupin Lounge Chair was created with softness, high comfort and relaxation as the cornerstones. It is available in a wide range of fabrics and leathers, with backrests in four different colors and a base in oiled walnut.

The product image is in the LE-8010 cloth with a black tanned leather backing and an oiled walnut baseö. The base is available in five additional finishes in walnut or oak with different finishes, oiled or stained.
