Switch 306 is a lamp designed in 2007 by the Japanese designer Nendo for Oluce. The lamp is a reinterpretation of the archetypal lampshade lamp by updating the lamps material and function. Switch 306 is made of metal and is available in black or gold. The floor lamp can be turned on and off by turning the cylindrical lamp shade. This is a good example of how Nendo has managed to combine form with function, aesthetics and functionality. In addition to Switch 306, the Switch lighting range also includes the Switch 206 table lamp.
