The P-L 01 Chair is a distinctive three-legged chair designed by Scottish-Swedish designer Nick Ross for Niko June. The P-L series draws inspiration from the post-and-lintel system used in ancient Greek, Indian, and Egyptian architecture, where vertical posts support horizontal lintels. This architectural principle is reflected in the chair’s design, emphasizing both stability and aesthetic simplicity. Each piece in the P-L series is produced locally in Copenhagen, Denmark, in close collaboration with a skilled blacksmith. The furniture is crafted from aluminum, a soft material that will acquire scratches over time, adding character and reflecting its use. Embrace these marks as a testament to the chair’s journey and functionality.
