The Pebble Rug Light Gray is designed by Margrethe Odgaard for Muuto. The designer was inspired by the sensual feeling of walking on a pebble beach, applying this the loom. The hand-woven rug has contrasting textures that blend soft wool yarns with the sturdy base of cooling jute yarn. The Pebble Rug Light Gray has a contemporary design that is perfect for the home but also for public environments such as restaurants, offices and hotels. Margrethe Odgaard is a Danish textile designer. She is considered one of the brightest stars of the new generation of Danish textile designers. She has won numerous prizes and awards for her textiles, fabrics and patterns.
Pebble Rug consists of 60% handwoven wool from New Zealand and 40% jute. Jute is a plant-based material, which means that the color varies depending on the origin, harvest, weather and more. This means that Pebble Rug can have minor color variations from one rug to another, a result of the properties of the jute, which also enhances the natural feel of the carpet. Please note that all sizes of carpet have a variation of +/-2%, which means that the dimensions of the carpet can differ by a maximum of 2%.
