Beam Lamp is a table lamp designed by Tom Chung for Danish brand Muuto. The table lamp won the 2019 prize for best finishing touch at the Wallpaper* Design Awards. Beam Lamp is available in four different colors and has the shape of a cylinder with a pleasant light in both directions. The brightness can be adjusted in three different levels according to your preferences, so you can also set different brightnesses for the different directions. The lamp has a built-in energy efficient LED lamp with a service life like a lumen lamp, which is about 35 thousand hours.Muuto was founded in 2006 by Kristian Byrge and Peter Bonnen. Since its inception, the company has had the vision to recapture the strong position Scandinavia had during the 1950s in the design world. Muutos means new perspective in Finnish and the innovative basic idea is deeply rooted in the company's philosophy. Throughout its history, Muuto has formed a number of creative collaborations with prominent designers such as Staffan Holm, Cecilie Manz and Harri Koskinen.
