Konstantin Cakestand comes from the British brand LSA International. The cake platter is made from hand-blown glass that has been scissor-cut by the brand's glassblowers to create the large centrepiece. Scissor cutting is the most skilled of all finishing techniques. The top of the glass is heated until it is semi-melted and then the excess glass around the edge is cut away. This gives the glass a thick, rounded and soft surface. The Konstantin Cakestand is a perfect serving dish for pies, cakes or various kinds of cakes and delicacies. The dish is washed by hand and wiped with a soft towel.
