National Geographic is a cabinet designed by Mats Theselius in 1990 for the Källemo brand. The cabinet now comes in a new green version made with an oak base, glass doors, and brass handles. As the name suggests, Mats Theselius was inspired by National Geographic when he created the cabinet. The cabinet is also available in a lacquered yellow color as found on the cover of National Geographic.
Källemo was founded in Visnamo in 1970 by Sven Lundh and over forty years later the company is still producing the same quality furniture, unaffected by trends. The philosophy of The philosophy of Källemo is that quality is a broad concept that cannot be measured in the traditional sense.
