The Soft Edge 12 - Lacquered Oak/Upholstered chair is designed by Iskos-Berlin for HAY. Thanks to the duo's exploration of different techniques in plywood construction, this elegant piece of furniture has been created without any sharp edges. By combining curves with extreme lightness, Iskos-Berlin has given the chair a three-dimensional effect, something that is often difficult with plywood. Its design also contributes to comfort. The softly shaped wooden backrest sits on a beautiful base, leaving an airy space between the support and the upholstered seat. As usual, HAY allows you to choose from different veneers to make the chair fit your home. Choose from a series of fabrics and leathers for the upholstered seat. In addition to this finish, HAY offers the chair in clear lacquered, matte lacquered and black-stained oak and in several colors.

Soft Edge 12 - Lacquered Oak/Upholstered is also stackable, which makes it easier if you need to stow the chairs away. Iskos-Berlin is the designer behind Soft Edge 12 - Soft Gray/Upholstered and the other furniture in the Soft Edge series. The Copenhagen-based design studio was founded in 2010 by Boris Berlin and Aleksej Iskos to create innovative, eye-catching and lovable designs. A design philosophy that reaches far within the design world and especially within Scandinavian design. Over the years they have been awarded several prizes, including at the Iconic Awards 2016 and the Red Dot Design Award 2018.
