About a Lounge AAL03 is designed by Hee Welling for Danish HAY. The piece of furniture is designed as an accessory to About a Lounge Chair, but can of course stand on its own as a stool. The designer's vision was to design beautiful and functional furniture without renouncing the traditional Scandinavian style, which can be seen throughout the About a Lounge collection. About a Lounge AAL03's neat height of 32 cm is great for resting your feet on after a long day and stands stable with its elegant, rounded legs. HAY offers the legs in three different finishes of oak to choose from – soaped or with a water-based black or natural lacquer. The fabric that covers the padded foam cushion is available in several variants in tasteful shades.
The About A lounge collection is a result of the continued collaboration between the designer and HAY. Hee Welling's goal with the series was to create a close-knit family of seating based on a simple but strong idea without sacrificing the individual characteristics that each individual model offers.
