The pendant lamp from the Caravaggio lamp series was designed by Cecilie Manz in 2005 for Fritz Hansen's Fritz Hansen brand. With Caravaggio, Manz has taken classic lamp design and given it a modern expression, an old-fashioned design that fits into many different interiors. Caravaggio was an immediate success on the market and is produced in several different versions as a pendant lamp, as well as a floor lamp, a wall lamp and a table lamp.

This pendant lamp is available with a shade in white opal glass or lacquered aluminium, and in several sizes. The shade is suspended by a textile cable and the suspension is made of a beautiful, chrome-plated steel. The Caravaggio provides directional light downwards while a dimple at the top of the shade allows some of the light to be diffused upwards.
