Droppen Seat Cushion is a cushion that is specially adapted for use with the "Droppen" chair from Fritz Hansen. The cushion is available in two colours. Droppen was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958, especially for Sas Royal Hotel in Copenhagen and is produced by Fritz Hansen. Originally only 150 pieces were created and it is only in later years that the Droppen would start to be produced in larger quantities. But thanks to Jacobsen's timeless design language, the design feels as relevant today as when it was launched.

The SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen opened in 1960 and is often referred to as the world's first design hotel, also Denmark's first skyscraper. Arne Jacobsen's designs included the Droppen, whose gently rounded shell contrasted with the hotel's more austere architecture. Jacobsen was responsible for the full design concept down to the smallest detail, from the outdoor facade and furniture to the cutlery in the restaurant. The SAS Royal Hotel has therefore come to be known as Jacobsen's work of art. Several design icons were introduced and put Danish design on the world map. It is also said that the Drop was Jacobsen's personal favourite piece of furniture.
