Stairs Rack is designed by Alain van Havre for Ethnicraft. The shelf is characterized by its angled composition, which creates a unique sense of volume. By carefully adjusting several angles, a dynamic surface is created that deviates from traditional static and immobile forms. When the light hits the surface, additional depth is created through the shadows that form on the multi-faceted oak surface. Several shelves can be combined to create a sculptural centerpiece, perfect as a different room divider. The shelf is made of solid oak and has a hard wax oil finish that highlights the natural beauty of the wood.
