Sofiero Planter, originally designed by Crown Prince Gustaf Adolf, who became King Gustaf VI Adolf, are today manufactured by the Swedish company Byarums Bruk. The story of the plant container began in 1994 when Byarums Bruk received a request from the Park Administration in Helsingborg to manufacture plant containers in sand-formed aluminum castings. Since then, this design has continued to be produced. The plant container is robustly made of aluminum and weighs 84 kg. It is also equipped with practical drainage holes in the bottom, making it suitable for use in a variety of outdoor environments. A timeless design that combines historical significance with modern functionality.
