Seriff Table Black Lacquered Mahogany is a table designed by Mårten Cyrén for the Swedish brand Byarums Bruk. The brand identified a need for a table to complement the Joy and Vilamoura sofas. The designer Cyrén was at first concerned that such a universal table could become mediocre, but then realized the importance of the table's own identity. The result was Seriff, a table that stands strong on its own legs and complements, rather than simply adapts to, sofas and chairs with its unique character.
