Papilio is a high bar stool designed by Japanese Naoto Fukasawa for Italian B&B Italia in 2019, as an addition to the Papillo series. Papilio means butterfly in Italian, and it is precisely the shape of a butterfly's wings that is behind the inspiration for the soft shape. The Papilio Bar Stool is both comfortable as it is padded with polyurethane foam and beautiful to look at. It fits well to the high dining table or to the kitchen island. The series also includes dining table chairs, desk chairs and armchairs.
