Maggiolina is an award-winning chair by Zanotta of Italy, designed by Marco Zanuso in 1947. With an elegant and timeless design, Maggiolina has become a modern classic, which is still very much in vogue today. It has a stylish frame made of solid stainless steel bars. The seat is made of cowhide and has soft, comfortable cushions. The back cushion is upholstered with goose feathers and the seat cushion with polyurethane and Dacron Du Pont. The cushions and armrests are made of leather and are available in a choice of colors. Maggiolina has a high level of seating comfort and works well as a stand-alone chair, or as part of a larger seating group. Combine the chair with the matching Maggiolina footstool for optimum comfort.
With Maggiolina, Marco Zanuso won a gold medal at the Milan Triennale in 1948. The chair is also part of the permanent collection of the Neue Sammlung Museum in Munich.
