Groove Trivet is a base designed by Hallgier Homstvedt for the Danish brand Muuto in 2014. The base is made of either green, white or green solid marble. The Groove Trivet is offered in two different sizes, either 16 or 21.6 cm in diameter. The top of the disc is slotted to allow air to flow through, for example when a hot pan is on the table. With Groove Trivet, Hallgier wanted to create a substructure that would also fit in as a stylish interior detail when not in use.
