Icha Chair is a chair designed by Chris Martin that was introduced by Massproductions in 2017 during Stockholm Design Week. The armchair's design is a mix of Scandinavian and Japanese design. The chair has a complex construction and is made of solid wood that has been laminated and bent using steam. Icha Chair is designed to meet the demands and needs that can be placed on a piece of furniture in public environments. Proof that this particular dining chair meets these requirements and needs is that it has been certified with the designation Möbelfakta, which is a Swedish quality standard for furniture. The Icha Chair and the other pieces of furniture in the series were well received when they were presented during Stockholm Design Week in 2017. The dining chair was appreciated so much that Elle Decoration magazine named it "Chair of the Year" the following year.
