The designer calls the lamp's design "industrial luxury". It is designed to resemble a blazing flame, balancing fragile material with a robust form. Mouth-blown by skilled craftsmen at the Iittala glass factory, each Leimu lamp has a soft surface and is handcrafted. The smaller model is compact enough to fit on a bedside table or shelf. The lamp spreads a soft, pleasant light that adds warmth to any environment. Its moss green color contributes to a sense of natural calm. This modern classic has received the prestigious iF Design Award.
