The Rope Rug is designed by Pauline Deltour for the brand Hem. The collection takes inspiration from reimagining the traditional Japanese tatami mat, but with ropes to create a coarser and more durable textile. Hem first produces meter after meter of colorful cotton ropes, which are then skilfully handwoven into rugs in various color combinations and sizes.
