Kurage table lamp from Italian Foscarini is produced through a very special craftsmanship. The legs are made of ash wood and the screen consists of Aoya 3D Washi paper that is handmade in Japan. The paper has a smooth and porous feel, which creates a soft and pleasant light in the room it is in. The lamp is a collaboration between the designer Luca Nichetto and the design studio Nendo, which was founded by the Japanese architect Oki Sato. Kurage means jellyfish in Japanese, which also inspired its shape.
