About a Table AAT15 is a square table designed by Hee Welling for the Danish brand HAY. The table consists of a top in white laminate or linoleum in black color. The base is made of aluminum that comes in powder-coated black color or in polished finish. About a Table AAT15 is part of the About a Table series, where versatility and the general design language are consistent throughout the collection. The tables have either round tabletops with a centered frame, or rectangular tops where the legs are placed at both ends in a crossbar construction. Thanks to the many sizes, it is easy to find a table that suits you and your needs.
Danish designer Hee Welling founded his own studio in Copenhagen in 2003. His creations are characterized by their relaxed elegance and sense of proportion. The focus is on an idea of technically realized products that can reach a wide mass. Welling has won several design awards such as the Bo Bedre Award in Denmark and the Good Design Award in the USA. He has also been nominated for Danish Designer of the Year in both 2013 and 2014.
