Artemide's Tolomeo has been popular since Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina designed the first table lamp in 1987. The Tolomeo Mini LED wall lamp is a fixture that has a flexible body that allows the light to be easily directed where it is needed or desired. The base and arms are made of polished aluminum and the diffuser is made of anodized aluminum. The lamp is sleek and simple in its shape and can be placed above the bed as a lamp post or in other places where space is limited. The lamp comes with an integrated and dimmable LED lightbulb.
What has made Tolomeo so popular is its flexibility, as the entire lamp body can be easily adjusted with one hand to direct the light exactly where it is needed. In 1989, Tolomeo's designers received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro award.
