Choose Mega was designed by Matteo Thun in 2006 for Italian Artemide. The name Mega comes from its long length of 178 cm, but despite this it has a narrow base measuring 37 cm in diameter. The base of the floor lamp is made of gray lacquered steel and Zamak. The shade is made of polycarbonate coated with parchment paper for a different texture. The floor lamp emits a direct light down and an indirect light up.
Choose Mega floor lamp is equally at home in public places such as libraries. The Choose series also includes a smaller floor lamp and a table lamp.
