Aria is a modern and elegant floor lamp designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune in 2005 for Örsjö Belysning. Aria comes in a black lacquered stand or in stainless steel and has a shade made of mesh textile. The textile is normally used for wallpapering and in this case it gives the lamp a different and special expression. Aria has elegant lines and the contrasting materials give it a modern feel. With shades positioned above and below the light bulb, Aria diffuses a pleasant light.
Originally, the lamp was developed for Stockholm restaurant Operakällaren in connection with a major renovation. The name Aria also hints at a connection to the opera house.
