Model 537 is a table lamp designed in 1950 by Italian designer Gino Sarfatti and reintroduced by Astep in 2019 as part of the prestigious Flos with Sarfatti collection. The combination of rich materials and an ingenious playful design demonstrates Sarfatti's technical skill.
The large aluminum shade in black or white is mounted asymmetrically on a brass rod that rests on an elegant marble top. As an important part of the design, the brass rod reaches out through the lampshade in a backward motion and acts as a practical handle.
