Selected for The Interior Innovation Award 2015, the Tara Shelving System by Zanat is a bookcase created with the idea of combining several together to create a larger shelving system. Monica Förster, who is behind the design of the shelf, has used round, soft shapes with five long legs that run vertically with the entire shelf, also supporting the shelves. One of these shelves has larger gaps that can accommodate taller items. The legs are decorated with hand-carved patterns, to give the shelf the special touch that Zanat stands for. Tara works well leaning against a wall as a divider in a room. The shelf is available in two sizes that can be combined, as well as in four different types of wood and several surface finishes.
