S/Wood is a footstool designed by Philippe Starck for the Kartell brand. It is part of the Smart Wood collection, which is the result of Kartell's tireless research into the possibility of giving three-dimensional form to a material that has always been two-dimensional. Innovative technology transforms the wood into unique, sculptural forms that combine aesthetics and functionality. The stool is made with chrome-plated or painted steel legs and a wooden seat.
