The multifunctional ceiling lamp Taraxacum 88 C/W is a lamp designed in 1988 by Achille Castiglioni for Italian Flos. With 15 included LED lights attached to a frame of equilateral triangles, Taraxacum 88 C/W is a cool plafond and a work of art in itself. Manufactured from aluminum and steel. Taraxacum 88 is part of the Taraxacum series, which also includes Taraxacum 88, 1 and 2, a total of four pendants and a ceiling. The ceiling lamp can also be mounted on the wall and used as a wall lamp.
The name Taraxacum is the scientific name for dandelion, which the shape of the lamp mimics. Normally, the dandelion is considered a weed, but here it takes shape in a beautiful lamp and suddenly stands for something new and innovative.
