The LC1 was designed in 1928 by the French designer trio Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand. Seat, back and armrests come in ecru fabric with natural leather fittings. The design trio were all part of the L?Union des Artistes Modernes movement, which was run by French modernist architects and artists. Their driving force was to create simple and sustainable design without superfluous embellishments. The LC1 is a successful result of that philosophy and has been made in three different versions. They offer both stylishness and great comfort. This version was first shown at the Salon d?Automne in 1929 and went into general production in 2011.
